meet mr. and mrs. simeral.
i had the true honor of capturing their BEAUTIFUL day. every single detail was just so stunning. so thought out. between the lace and feathers and the birdcage veils – i couldn’t handle the beautiful elegance that it was. and the couple? probably one of the single most amazing couples i’ve had the pleasure of getting to know. fun. funny. down to earth. laid back. just happy. happy to be. happy to be with one another. with their friends. with their family. with their girls. they are simply incredible. truly.
david and leah – you know i love and adore you. i wish you nothing but all the wonderful things this world has to offer.

meet jake and tricia. the new mr. and mrs. beckerle. and oh lord they are the most amazing couple. from the first time i met them until now, i’ve fallen in love with these two. the way he teases her. the way she calls him jacob john. it’s just too much to handle.
and on a beautiful saturday afternoon in june, these two wed before hundreds of family and friends. the bride was simply stunning. i mean – look at her! and the groom cleaned up pretty nice if i do say so myself. i stood by during their day just soaking it all in. from start to finish the day was perfect. it was easy. it was more fun that i can express. these two didn’t have a care in the world. i watched them simply soak up the day as it unrolled.
jake and tricia, you know i adore you both. thank you for taking me on this journey with you. i wish you nothing but a lifetime of happiness.

meet jon and kate. the new mr. and mrs. schroeder. and i love them. a lot. they are some of the most amazing people i’ve had the pleasure of meeting. i’ll never forget the fun we had at their engagement session so long ago. from that moment i knew we just clicked. i knew the wedding was going to be ten times more amazing. and it was. from start to finish everyone welcomed me with open arms into their homes and into their lives. so much laughter was had. lots of tears (of joy) were shed. and i just knew that jon and kate were loved by so many and that this day was truly one filled with love, laughter, friends and family.
the day was beautiful. kate was breathtaking in her beautiful gown. and jon – he cleans up nice. the church was filled to the brim with so many wanting to celebrate these two becoming man and wife. and the weather was amazing. it was a perfect day to enjoy frozen custard at ted drews and a ferris wheel ride at the top of the city museum. we even snuck back to the spot where jon proposed to kate (even wading through a few small creeks to get there). and when these two entered their reception they were greeted by applause and shots of congratulations from all those there sharing in this day.
jon and kate – you know i love the two of you. it’s been an incredible journey and i could not feel more blessed that you chose me to go along for the ride. i wish you both nothing but only good things this world has to offer.

meet matt and shannon. the new mr. and mrs. eaton. and not only am i fortunate to have them as clients, but as friends. and i am so elated to have had this wonderful opportunity to capture their day. and what a day it was. starting with the weather. gorgeous. sunny. warm. (the following day was 50 and rainy – they really lucked out). now let’s talk about this woman’s dress. lace. buttons. open back. good lord she was stunning. then you have the gray suits. the pops of navy and coral. the entire event was beautiful. the wedding party was filled with incredible people. they filled the bus with laughter and conversations the entire day. from start to finish the day was amazing. i saw every tiny detail these two put love and time into. and most importantly i was witness to their journey’s start as a new family.
mr. and mrs. eaton – thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me into your lives on one of the biggest you two will share. i enjoyed every single moment with you and yours. i hope you cherish these memories for a lifetime to come.

meet mr. and mrs. arnette. you remember them, right? {here} is your refresher. i want to start off by saying that these two have touched my heart in so many ways. they are such a beautiful definition of love. unconditional love. the way he looks at her. the way she smiles at him. it’s amazing. and i look at them and i am in awe. it makes my heart happy. and these two had such a beautiful wedding. surrounded by so many people who love and adore them. i am so blessed to have captured their special day in such an incredible way.
andy and lindsay, i have had a wonderful time getting to know you both. i am so touched you chose me to capture the beginning of this chapter in your lives. i wish you both a lifetime filled with happiness.

meet nate and sarah. the new mr. and mrs. reitz. you remember them, right? {here} is your refresher. these two love birds just tied the knot at a gorgeous winery in defiance, mo. their day was simply perfect. beautiful weather. stunning bride. handsome groom. family. friends. love. an incredible amount of love. and i was so fortunate to capture their entire day. it was the perfect backdrop for romance. every moment. every corner. every nook. it was filled with intimacy and romance. it made me all squishy mushy on the inside.
nate and sarah, i’m so happy for you both. it’s been wonderful getting to know you both during this journey. i wish you nothing but happiness and good as your begin this new chapter in your lives.

meet gary and nancy. the new mr. and mrs. foster. i’ve known them for quite some time. my husband was very fortunate to call gary his sergeant for a very long time while working for him in the slmpd. and not one bad word has been muttered about gary from my husband’s mouth. not one. he has the utmost respect for that man as well as his family, as both gary and nancy do for my family.
gary reached out to me because he and nancy were getting married. in the courthouse. by a friend. and did i mention – no one knew? so on this cold monday afternoon we headed downtown and these two were going to get hitched. tie the knot. live happily ever after. and i, i was lucky enough to not only capture this moment, but i also served as a witness. it meant the world to me to sign their marriage license. the ceremony was short and sweet and simple. in my eyes – perfect. laughter was had. tears were shed. rings were exchanged. we left the courthouse and made a few small stops for pictures, and when the day ended mr. and mrs. foster were visibly happy. visibly in love. and i, well i could not be happier for them.
gary and nancy, you know what you mean to me and to my family. i’m so honored to have captured your day for you. i hope you cherish these images for a lifetime to come.

where to begin? well. i have known mrs. roman for quite some time. her and i went to high school together. played sports together. i have a lot of fond, fond memories of tesey. her outgoing personality and incredible attitude are the things i remember  most. so when she reached out and asked me to capture her special day of course i was on board.
she and her now husband, derek, married on a beautiful september afternoon. the weather had been so temperamental all week that i prayed over and over for mother nature to cooperate for just a few hours. and she did. beautifully. sunny. 70. amazing.
the church doors swung open, everyone rose, and in walked tesey. beautiful. simply beautiful. and out of the corner of my eye i saw derek smiling. ear to ear. and i knew in that very moment these two were made for each other. i watched as they stood in front of god, family and friends and vowed their lives to one another. this is one of the single most reasons i love my job. watching a new life begin. a new journey. it reminds me of all the good still left in this world. they said i do. shared a kiss. and hand in hand walked down the aisle as mr. and mrs. roman.
the remainder of the day was filled with so much fun. so much laughter. derek and tesey have some truly incredible friends and family that i had the pleasure of spending the entire day with. the kind that make you feel like you’re one of them. yeah. that kind. not for a single moment did i feel like “just the photographer”. they welcomed me with open arms, tossed me in the limo, and carried on without missing a beat.
their day ended with a party. a great party. i looked around and saw an endless sea of smiles. of laughter. of happiness. the room was filled with so many who love this couple. i mean love.
derek and tesey, i am beyond thrilled for you both. you have truly found your soulmate in one another. i wish you a lifetime of nothing but wonderful. and thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to witness your day through my lens.
